Mit zahlreichen teils ganzseitigen und farbigen Abbildungen. New York, Editions Alecto of America Limited, 1970. 28 Bl. in farbigem Offsetdruck. 59,5 x 45,5 cm. Pappdeckel mit Schraubenbindung und montiertem Deckblatt auf dem Vorderdeckel (Schraubenbindung teils aus der Bindung gelöst, Deckel etwas gebräunt und knickspurig).
Sehr seltener Reprint des 3. Heftes der Zeitschrift, hier neu gestaltet als Künstlerbuch im Pop-Folio-Format. Die von Les Levine herausgegebene Zeitschrift "Culture Hero. A fanzine of the stars of the super world" ist von 1969-1970 in nur 5 Heften erschienen. - "Culture Hero may have been the most sacrilegious of the offset underground newspapers of the period." (Battcock, Gregory. Ley Levine. Vancouver Art Gallery, 1974). - "Les Levine who called himself a 'media sculptor' published the art world tabloid 'Culture Hero' in order to expose the reality of the media's role in branding the artist. A cross between Warhol's Interview (founded the same year) and John Wilcock's countercultural paper 'Other Scenes'..." (Allen, Artist's Magazines, 2015). - Obere Ecke durchgehend mit Stauchspur, 1.
